I'm That HVAC Guy.
25 years on the road.
Gregory Frazier — commercial and residential HVAC across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and Florida. I bring you up on the roof and behind the ceiling tile to show the real work: crane days, rooftop swaps, old iron with a story, and the honest stuff nobody else films. No script, no hype — just the trade from somebody who's been doing it long enough to know what matters.
The commercial side nobody else covers
Everyone and their cousin built a residential Manual J calculator. Nobody built the thing you actually need when you're standing on a roof next to a dead 10-ton package unit. That's this.
Contractors & estimators
Price a swap fast, size the unit, decide curb adapter vs. new curb, and put real numbers in front of the customer before you leave the roof.
Facility & property managers
Stop guessing whether that aging unit is worth one more repair. Get honest replace-vs-repair math you can defend to ownership.
Techs learning commercial
You can wire a residential split in your sleep. Packaged rooftop work is a different animal — this is where you pick it up.

The Home Whisperer
Plain-talk home HVAC, by Gregory Frazier — 25 years in the field. The commercial roof is my day job, but I'm bringing back the homeowner column I wrote for a decade: why your house is clammy, whether your air is making you sick, what's living in the attic, and which gear is actually worth your money.
- Comfort, indoor air quality, and home building science
- Written for homeowners across MD, PA, DE, VA and FL

Why I started filming
I'm Gregory Frazier — 25 years in commercial HVAC and refrigeration across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and Florida. Most people walk right past the equipment that keeps a building alive and never give it a thought. I started filming because the work deserves to be seen, and because the trade is full of hard-won lessons that never make it off the roof. So I bring the camera up there with me.
- The real job on camera — crane days, swaps, and old iron with a story
- Field-tested tools and guides for the commercial rooftop side
- No script, no hype — just the trade, the way it actually is

Crane day on a casino roof
Swapping a 20-ton R-22 York off a casino roof with a 100-ton crane. The whole job from up top — rigging, the pick, the set, and the crew that pulled it off. Sound's on; it's the real thing.
A 1933 church, a 30-ton rooftop, and a system hiding in the basement
The field series continues. I went up on a 1933 East Baltimore church for a 30-ton gas/electric package unit so old the data plate was painted into oblivion — then went downstairs and found a whole second system the roof had nothing to do with: a 180,000 BTU York air handler still running on R-22. A two-part walkthrough.
